Etnolog, museolog och kulturentreprenör utbildad vid Umeå och Uppsala universitet. Jag driver ett antal projekt vid sidan av studier och arbete, som fokuserar kring HBTQ+ frågor, och etnologisk dokumentation av fotboll i olika former.

FOTOGRAFI
Fotografi kan berätta en historia, det kan fånga ett ögonblick i tiden, det kan dokumentera och det kan vara konst. Det finns många tekniska användningsområden för fotografering såväl som sociala och kreativa. Hur vi använder och interagerar med fotografi är högst personligt och kommer att skilja sig från en person till en annan. Personligen är jag mest intresserad av porträtt, sport och gatufotografering.

Portraiture is a representation of a specific person by reproducing their individual features, where above all the facial features must be prominent, in contrast to a full figure, where the whole body is depicted. A portrait is a picture that shows a person's individual character traits and facial expressions.

Sports photography

FOOTBALL
​
Sports photography is the photography of ongoing sporting events. Sports and action photography is difficult because it requires in-depth knowledge of the subject's movement patterns and regulations. It's about quick reaction skills and easy-to-handle technology. My very favourite sport is football.

Street photography
URBAN LIFE
​
Street photography at its essence means candid photography of humanity. A street photograph is a real moment. The genre is both about the photographer and their subject. Street Photographers filter the world to share what interests them and what they are feeling. It is a form of documentary photography where the photographer and the subject are in real situations in public spaces such as streets, parks, beaches, malls or political meetings. However, street photography does not require the presence of a street, people or the urban environment.

DET VACKRA SPELET
Jag älskar det vackra fotbollsspelet. Flera av mina projekt innehåller fotboll på något sätt. The Beautiful Game är ett projekt som syftar till att dokumentera lokal fotboll genom bilder av deltagande spelare, ledare och entusiaster som tillsammans gör sporten möjlig. Intervjuer och bilder skapar berättelser och dokumentation av 2020-talets lokala fotbollstalang.

PUBLIKATIONER
Under min tid vid Umeå och Uppsala universitet har jag skrivit ett antal kandidatuppsatser. De teman som genomsyrar mitt arbete och mina studier kan sammanfattas med begreppen identifikation, engagemang och makt med fokus på HBTQ+-frågor och representation. En teoretisk begreppsapparat som kännetecknar mitt arbete är performativitet, prestation, queer, subjektivitet, affekt, sårbarhet. Det syns bland annat i mina uppsatser som handlade om negativa normer och homofobi inom herrfotbollen, betydelsen av Army of lovers för HBTQ+-fans som kämpat för rättigheterna för HBTQ+-personer med läger som motståndsstrategi och alltid sett till att homosexualitet är något man kan dansa till, Museers arbetar med queera källor, samlingar och representationsfrågor.

“WE´RE QUEER: Museums work with queer sources, collection, and representation” (2023). In this essay, I examine how museums work to musealize queer sources and objects, in order to create a greater understanding of how museums work to elevate previously marginalized or excluded queer representation in their collections.

“Army of Lovers; Queerness, camp and fandom” (2021) explores the importance of the swedish popband Army of Lovers, for LGBTQ+ fans who fought for the rights of LGBTQ+ people with camps as a resistance strategy and always made sure that homosexuality is something you can dance to. Series of digitally enhanced photographes exploning the beauty of bones, bodies and the notion of the enevitability of death but also the hope that lies in metamorphosis. Memento mori is an artistic or symbolic trope with its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity and appeared in funerary art and architecture from the medieval period onwards.
