OCEANIA

Technically not a continent, Oceania serves as a perfect name for my series of oceanic-themed art. The health of the ocean and marine life are so often taken for granted. The diversity and productivity of the world’s oceans is a vital interest for humankind. Our security, our economy, our very survival all require healthy oceans.

      The oceans are the largest ecosystems on Earth, they are the Earth’s largest life support systems. To survive and prosper, we all need healthy oceans. We need air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, a climate we can live in, beauty, inspiration and recreation. We need to know we belong to something bigger than ourselves.
